Beer And Pseudo Fitness? Count Me In!

I’ve donated to exactly two startup, crowd-funding campaigns in my life. And they both had three things in common:

  1. The owners are incredibly hard-working and genuinely awesome people.
  2. They’re bringing something fun and unique to our beloved city that will make it even more enjoyable to residents and visitors.
  3. And lastly, they both have to do with beer.

The first, as you CLE’ers may have guessed, is Brewnuts, which was successfully funded at the end of last year and has found a permanent home in Gordon Square!

The second is the newly launched BrewBoat CLE: A Cleveland Sightseeing ExBEERience started by Freddie Coffey, digital marketing manager for JumpStart Inc. and Cleveland entrepreneur.

Why did I decide to donate to this campaign and more importantly, why should you?

Drinking + pretending to exercise = what more could you ask for? My yoga pants will be so excited to get out of the house!

It’s bringing a completely different experience to Cleveland – one that both residents and tourists can get excited about. (RNC? Pshh. Drinking on a Cycleboat is way more fun!)

It’s going to make those special occasions even more special. Imagine a bachelor or bachelorette party, a first date or even a corporate team-building event – ALL ON A BOAT WITH BEER (or wine for those non-beer drinkers).

Freddie’s a cool guy with an awesome idea. Just watch his Epic Indiegogo Campaign Video if you don’t believe me.

So what are you waiting for? Head over to BrewBoat CLE’s Indigogo Campaign, check out the perks – I bought the featured perk, an exclusive cruise sponsored by SweetWater Brewing Company – and get in on the action!
